Current performances included and include Dulcamara (Madrid, New York, Montevideo, Munich), Don Giovanni (Paris, Monte Carlo, Munich, Buenos Aires, Budapest), Escamillo (Verona), Attila (Palermo), Leporello (New York), Scarpia (Berlin), Nozze-Figaro  (London, New York). At the Wiener Staatsoper, Erwin Schrott gave his debut in 1999 as Banquo (Macbeth) and also sang since then Leporello, Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Conte d’Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Méphistophélès (Faust) and Dulcamara.
