Renato Dolcini Tickets

Renato Dolcini was born in 1985 in Milan. Professionally trained vocals under the direction of Vincenzo Manno (at the Academy Theater La Scala and at the City School of Music Claudio Abbado). Studied musicology in University of Pavia, which graduated in 2012, received a diploma with honors. He twice participated in the sessions. Vocal Academy Festival in Gstaad (Switzerland), where he improved with Cecilia Bartoli. Since 2010 collaborates in the field of baroque repertoire research with Roberta Invernitsi (soprano).

The young singer performs equally well both on the opera and on the concert stage. He sang the party Conte Robinson in The Secret Marriage by D. Chimaroza (Bibien Theater in Mantua), Figaro in The Barber of Seville by Rossini (Ruggeri Theater, Guastalla), Don Alfonso in “This is what everybody” by Mozart (Opera Tenerife, Spain), Death in Savitri by G. Holst (Dal Verme Theater, Milan). He sang in the cantatas of Vivaldi and Handel at the BaRoMus festivals in Rovinho; performed "Summer Nights" by Berlioz at the Palazzo Marino in Milan; German Lieder at the festival Mozart Festival in Rovereto with harpsichordist Francesco Corti, the "Christmas Oratorio" and Cantata 140 Bach with EnsembleMagnificat. In particular, with the ensemble Il Canto d’Orfeo under the direction of Gianluca Capuano he performed works of both baroque and modern authors: for example, Ievfay and HistoriaDivitis J. Carissimi at the Bach Festival in Lausanne and A. Raskatov’s opera “The Heart of a Dog” at the Teatro alla Scala Lyon Opera. His performance is DixitDominus Handel with the ensemble GhislieriChoir & Consort (director Giulio Prandi) at the festival in Ambron was highly appreciated by critics. Among his recent engagements are several parts at once in the opera Eritrea by F. Cavalli (La Fenice Theater, Venice, conducted by Stefano Montanari), for which the singer also received positive press reviews.
The discography of R. Dolcini includes chamber duets of the Italian composer of the XVII – XVIII centuries. A. Steffani, recorded with Roberto Balconi and EnsembleFantazyas on ALMRecords, and the performance of the title role in the Oratorio A. Stradella "St. John the Baptist", with the HarmonicesMundi ensemble, under the direction of Claudio Astronio (BrillantsClassics).
