Yann Robin, born February 12, 1974 in Courbevoie, is a French composer of contemporary music.
Yann Robin begins his musical studies in Aix-en-Provence. He later joined the jazz class at the CNR in Marseille and joined Georges Bœuf's composing class at the same time. At the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris he won first prize in composition in the class of Frédéric Durieux and analysis in that of Michael Levinas. He became a scholarship recipient of the Meyer Foundation, received a prize from the Academy of Fine Arts and the Salabert Foundation and Sacem awarded him the Grand Prix of Symphonic Music in 2011. From 2006 to 2008 it follows the two years of Ircam's computer course. His music is published by Editions Jobert.
