About

Vincent Wolfsteiner studied at the New England Conservatory with William Cotten and debuted as Rodolfo ("La Bohème") at the Grantite State Opera. After Engagements in the USA, his path led him to the Staatsoper Hannover, Komische Oper Berlin and the Anhaltische Theater Dessau. For the 2012/13 season, he became an ensemble member of the Staatstheater Nürnberg. There he sang the title roles in "Tristan and Isolde", "Andrea Chénier" and "Otello" as well as Calaf in "Turandot"and all tenor principal roles of all four parts of the "ring of the Nibelungen". At the 2015/16 season, he moved to the Ensemble of the Frankfurt Opera. There he sang to this day Siegfried, Erik ("The Flying Dutchman"), Tambourmajor ("Wozzeck"), Lohengrin and Peter Grimes. Upcoming Engagements at his headquarters in the season 2017/18 include Filka Morozov / Luka Kuzmic in " Aus einem Totenhaus "and Maurizio in Vincent Boussard's production of"Adriana Lecouvreur". His Repertoire also includes roles such as Florestan ("Fidelio"), Bacchus ("Ariadne auf Naxos") and Max ("Der Freischütz"). Vincent Wolfsteiner works with renowned conductors such as Sebastian Weigle, Marcus Bosch, Steven Sloane, Cornelius Meister, Lothar Zagrosek, Karen Kamensek, Pier Giorgio Morandi, Christian Mandeal, Jérémie Rohrer, Stefan Blunier as well as with renowned directors such as Barrie Kosky, Calixto Bieito, Christof Loy, Keith Warner, Benedict Andrews, Gabriele Rech, Sabine Hartmannshenn, Sebastian Baumgarten, Monique wagemakers, Frank hilbrich and Georg Schmiedleitner together.
