Valentin Racoveanu is a graduate of the Conservatory in Bucharest. It was perfected by studying with the masters Corneliu Fânţeanu, Vasile Martinoiu, Ionel Voineag and Marius Brenciu. Soloist of the Bucharest National Opera, Valentin Racoveanu has collaborated throughout the time with the Cologne Symphony Orchestra, the Comic Opera for Children, the "Concerto" Orchestra of the National University of Music Bucharest, the "George Enescu" Philharmonic in Bucharest, the Ploieşti Philharmonic, the Orchestra of Radio Chamber, "Transilvania" Philharmonic from Cluj-Napoca, National Radio Orchestra, Philharmonic from Iasi, Arad, Sibiu, Râmnicu Vâlcea and "Elena Teodorini" Lyric Theater from Craiova.
In October 2002, Valentin Racoveanu held several concerts with Carmina Burana during a tour in the Netherlands, at the Concertgebow in Amsterdam, Dr. Anton Philips Saal in Den Haag, De Doelen in Rotterdam, etc., along with the Moldova Philharmonic in Iasi. , and in July 2003 participated in the Ramatuelle Festival - France with the opera "Madama Butterfly" by Giacomo Puccini, in the role of Goro.
In 2005 he was invited to the Klassik Kühle Kirche festival, held in Bad Lippspringe (Germany), where he performed shows with the opera "Il matrimonio segreto" ("The Secret Marriage") by Domenico Cimarosa and concerts with opera and sacred music areas.
