Uwe God winter studied voice at the HMTM Hannover, with Prof Marina Sandel. In 2016, he completed his Master's degree there. He continues his studies with the admission of a solo class. Through master classes with renowned artists such as Brigitte Fassbaender, Christoph Prégardien, Roman Trekel, Daniel Ferro and Peter Berne, he received further important impulses.
During his studies he was a guest singer at the Osnabrück theatre and the Staatsoper Hannover in L. Bernstein's "Candide" and A. Zemlinsky's "der Traumgörge". In the season 2016/17 he is experienced both as Augustin Moser in R. Wagner's "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg" at the Landestheater Detmold, and at the Staatsoper Hannover in D. Glanert's opera "Leyla und Medjnun". With the season 2017/18 he is engaged as a permanent ensemble member to the Staatsoper Hannover.
His versatility in concert and oratorical subjects makes him a German-wide sought-after Artist of baroque, classical and romantic literature. He also acquired a name as a song interpreter and is supervised as a student of the song class by Prof. Jan Philip Schulze.
The young artist has been and will receive targeted support through numerous scholarships, including the "Richard Wagner verband Hannover", "Live Music Now Hannover E.V." and the "Deutschlandstipendium" as well as a scholarship from the "Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes".
