Tingvall Trio (Tingvall Trio) is a jazz group from Germany. Only drummer Jürgen Spiegel is German by nationality, except for him includes pianist and composer Martin Tingvall from Sweden and Cuban double bass player Omar Rodriguez Calvo. The trio was founded in Hamburg in 2003. Skagerrak's first album was released in 2006 via Skip Records.
The group plays modern jazz of the "Scandinavian" direction, most often their music is compared with the Swedish ensemble Esbjörn Svensson Trio. The trio uses traditional Swedish folk songs as part of the composition.
