Thomas Cavuoto since 2003 is a permanent orchestra professor of the Teatro and of the Scala Philharmonic. He graduated from the Conservatory with top marks under the guidance of Antonello Farulli.
While still a student he was the first viola of the Italian Youth Orchestra.
Thomas Cavuoto specialized with W.Christ, Hatto Beyerle, D.Wasckiewicz for the viola; Franco Rossi and Piero Farulli for the quartet and with the Trieste Trio for chamber music.
He was the founding violist of the Agorà quartet, with which she won several international awards including the international city competition of Caltanissetta.
Thomas Cavuoto has collaborated with the Rai Orchestra of Turin, the Municipal Theater of Bologna, Teatro Verdi of Trieste, Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and, as second viola, with the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and as First Viola of the Lyric Theater of Cagliari.
He was the first viola of the Marche Philharmonic Orchestra, the Venetian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Cameristi della Scala.
