Theodor (Fedor) Khristoforovich Bubek - Russian organist, composer and teacher of German origin.

The son of a music teacher and conductor Christoph Friedrich Bubek, brother of organist and choirmaster Gotthold Bubek (1864-1924). He studied at the Conservatory in Stuttgart, then graduated from the Moscow Conservatory, first in organ class with L. I. Betting (1895), and then in composition (1898) with Sergei Taneyev and Mikhail Ippolitov-Ivanov. At the final exam, he performed the Prelude and Fugue in A minor by I. S. Bach, “Funeral March” by R. Wagner in the treatment of G. E. Shtele and Sonata in B Flat Major by F. Mendelssohn. In 1905 he was in Paris, where he took lessons from Charles-Marie Vidor. He was an organist of the Reformed Church in Moscow, as well as a music critic of the Moscow German newspaper. In 1905-1909, he was an assistant professor at the Moscow Conservatory, taught organ and composition, and in 1909 received the title of professor. He has published in Russia and abroad a number of piano and organ plays, romances, and also a polonaise for an orchestra of his own composition. He died suddenly on December 30, 1909 (January 12, 1910) in Moscow.
