Winner of the prestigious New York Concert Artists Concerto Competition competition in 2013, Suzana BARTAL performs in venues such as the Beethoven-Haus Bonn, Salle Pleyel and Radio France in Paris, Merkin Hall in New York, Palazzetto Bru Zane in Venice or Milton Court in London and in major series such as that of the Vichy Opera, the Avignon Opera, the "Classique au Vert" festival in Paris, the Easter Festival of Aix-en-Provence, the Epau Festival, the Berlioz Festival, the Evian Musical Encounters, the Besançon International Music Festival and the Turku Music Festival (Finland).
She has regularly appeared on France Musique, Radio Classique, Radio France Internationale, RTBF, West German Radio Rundfunk (WDR) and on Romanian and Hungarian radio and television.
His first album dedicated to Schumann's music was released in March 2016 at Paraty (Harmonia Mundi distribution) and was warmly received by the press.
Suzana, a very enthusiastic interpreter of contemporary music, has collaborated with illustrious composers today, such as Thomas Adès and Eric Tanguy (of whom she has created several works). She is also very active as a chamber musician, notably with the cellists Henri Demarquette, István Várdai, Benedict Klöckner, Aurélien Pascal and Yan Levionnois, violinists Kristóf Baráti, Josef Spacek, Alina Pogostkina, Rosanne Philippens, Alexandra Soumm, Alexandra Conunova, Déborah Nemtanu , the violist Lise Berthaud, the clarinetist Pierre Génisson or the Zaïde Quartet. Born in Timişoara (Romania) into a family of Hungarian origin, Suzana Bartal moved to France in 2005 where she studied in Paris and Lyon at the National Conservatory of Music, then between 2011 and 2014 at Yale University (USA). United) where she obtained her doctorate in interpretation. In September 2019, she made her debut at the Philharmonie de Paris as a soloist with the Pasdeloup Orchestra under the direction of Marzena Diakun, as well as in a recital at the Auditorium of the Louvre Museum.
