Stefano Lo Re studied at the Civica Scuola di Musica in Milan with Maestro Angelo Leone, earning a diploma as a private student at the “N. Paganini ”of Genoa with the vote 9.50 / 10.
He attended the specialization courses of the Academy "L. Perosi ”from Biella under the guidance of Maestro Stefano Pagliani and the first shoulder violin course held by Maestro Leon Spierer in the Principality of Monaco.
Participating as a soloist in numerous competitions Stefano Lo Re was ranked first in the City of Tradate competitions, ‘L. Perosi 'di Biella, Castell’Arquato and according to the competitions Città di Sesto S. Giovanni, Città di Genova and Città di Stresa.
Numerous collaborations in the orchestra: from the Teatro alla Scala in Milan to the "Arturo Toscanini" of Parma, Sinfonica di San Remo as first part; as Spalla's first violin he distinguished himself in the "Sacro Cuore" Catholic University Orchestra and Accademia Concertante d 'Archi in Milan.
Winner in July 2001 of the competition organized by the Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali of Milan, he plays the role of Shoulder of the second and Concertino of the first violins.
With the Trio Hemiolia (strings and piano) Stefano Lo Re attended specialization courses with the Trio Altenberg and the Trio of Trieste in prestigious institutions such as the Vienna Conservatory, the Academy of Pinerolo (TO), the High School of Chamber Music of Duino (TS) and held concerts in important venues such as Auditorium of the Revoltella Museum in Trieste, The Tempietto of Rome, Circolo della Stampa of Milan, in the Hall of the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna, in the Chamber Hall of the Kiev Philharmonic Orchestra (Ukraine) with television shooting and in Slovenia.
Awarded in national and international competitions (International Award "Rovere d'Oro", International Grand Prize "Lario in Musica", International Prize "S: Thalberg"), in 2001 the Trio Hemiolia was the winner of the national selections called by Gioventù Musicale d Italy, followed by concerts for the Lagomaggioremusica Festival, in Lavarone (TN), at Palazzo de 'Priori in Fermo (AP), in Asola (MN).
Stefano Lo Re was the first violinist of the "Solo d'Archi", a chamber group with which he performed popular concert activity and with which he participated in numerous competitions for orchestral formations including: Società del Giardino (III ex-aequo) , Villar Perosa, Turin (2nd place ex-aequo), City of Tortona Kawai Trophy (first place overall with special mention of the jury).
