Silvio Omizolo was an Italian pianist and composer.
He graduated from the Milan Conservatory as a pianist (1927), a student of Renzo Lorenzoni. He also graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ferrara. He did not receive a formal composer education, but at the early stage of his work (the first works of Omizolo date back to 1928) he consulted with Almerigo Girotto. In 1943 he was awarded the first prize in the competition of the Italian Union of Musicians; in 1969, Omizolo's concert for piano and orchestra received the third prize in a composers competition as part of the Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels.
In 1933-1974 taught piano at the Padua Conservatory, in 1966-1971. was its director.
