Born in Latvia, Silga Tīruma obtains her diploma of singing (opera, concert and melody) at the J. Vitols Academy of Music in Riga. She is selected by the Opera Studio to perform the roles of Adina in The Elixir of Love, Gretel in Hänsel and Gretel and Fanny in Il Cambiale di matrimonio at the Riga Opera.

She completed her Master's degree in lyric singing with congratulations from the jury at the University of Music and Dramatic Art Graz, Austria; the jury of the Riccardo Zandonai International Singing Competition in Riva del Garda, Italy, awarded him the prize for best performance of R. Zandonai. She sings the leading female role in the world premiere of Viktor Fortin's opera Franz Jägerstätter in Graz. In Vienna, she meets Christa Ludwig, whose teaching and encouragement she receives. She works under the direction of the conductor Gustav Kuhn the roles of Papagena (The Magic Flute) and Eva (The Nuremberg Master Singers) at the Tyrol Festival in Erl, Austria. She plays Rosalinde (The Bat), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Lelde (female lead) Spèlèju, dancoju Imants Kalniņš and the title role Vienna operetta Clivia Nico Dostal in Riga. She sings with the Vienna Philharmonic at Hainfeld Castle in Austria and participates in the gala concert of the Sigulda Summer Lyrical Festival (Latvia) with the Riga Opera Orchestra. In Latvia, she received the Public Prize at the Victoires de la Musique and the Classical Radio awarded him the prize for the best start of career. His repertoire ranges from opera and operetta to vocal chamber music and oratorio. Since 2015, she is part of the Choirs at the Opéra national de Paris.
