The soprano Sieglinde Feldhofer grew up in Styria and studied singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. She attended master classes with Gary Magby, Romualdo Savastano and Brigitte Fassbaender, and already received several awards during her studies. She won the Lions Panthera Promotion Prize and was repeatedly sponsored by the Zonta Club Graz. In 2009 she was a finalist at the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in the field of operetta, and in 2013 she received the, for the first time ever awarded, Austrian Music Theater Award "Goldener Schikaneder" as the best up-and-coming artist.
Since autumn 2008, Sieglinde Feldhofer has been a member of the ensemble Graz Opera, where she has sung a variety of roles: Papagena (The Magic Flute), Smeraldine (The Love for the Three Oranges), Eliza Doolittle (My Fair Lady), Maria Rainer (The Sound of Music), Adele (The Bat), Sleeping Beauty (Das Traumfresserchen), Komtesse Stasi (The Csárdásfürstin), Christel (The Bird Seller), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Franzi Steingruber (A Waltz Dream), Gigi (Gigi), Sora (Gasparone ), Gretel (Hänsel and Gretel), Ottilie (In the White Horse), Julie Jordan (Carousel), Hortense (The Opera Ball), Valencienne in The Merry Widow Musetta (La Bohème), Maria (West Side Story), Susanna (Le Nozze Di Figaro), Ciboletta (One Night in Venice), Jadja (Polish Wedding) and many more.
In addition to her performances in Graz, Sieglinde Feldhofer made her first guest appearance in summer 2010 at the Mörbisch Seefestspiele as Masha in Der Zarevich. This was followed by other important debuts: at the Volksoper in Vienna as Franziska Cagliari in Wiener Blut (2011), at the Salzburger Landestheater as Adele (2012), a role which she also played at the Seefestspiele Mörbisch in the same year, at the Lehár Festival Bad Ischl in the main role of Margit in Where the lark sings (2013), at the Vereinigte Bühnen Bolzano again as Adele (2014) and at the Baden Theater as Dolly Girot in Lehár's rarely played operetta Frasquita (2016). In 2016/17 she also returned to Lehár Festival Bad Ischl in two productions: Kondja Gül in Leo Falls The Rose of Stambul and Miss Phoebe in Lehár's The Jux Marriage. In the summer she celebrated a great success as Christel in The bird merchant at the Seefestspiele Mörbisch and as Sonja in The Tsarevich at the Theater Baden. In 2017/18 she debuted at the Opera House of National Grand Theater in Beijing as Valencienne in The Merry Widow, and returned to the Volksoper Vienna as Hortense (Helene) in The Opera Ball and the Lehár Festival Bad Ischl as Princess Laya in The Flower of Hawaii. 2018/19 resumption Hortense (Helene) followed in The Opera Ball at the Volksoper and Marzelline in Fidelio at the Theater Baden.
In 2019/20, Sieglinde Feldhofer and others will sing. Zerlina and Adele at the Graz Opera, and she debuts in the role of Blanka von Lossin in Lehár's The Blue Mazur at the Theater Baden.
