Shiv was born in India, raised in Hong Kong and is now based in Sydney. After graduating from NIDA, Shiv went on to appear in Disgraced, Meat Eaters: Rough Draft (Sydney Theatre Company), The Almighty Sometimes (Griffin Theatre) and toured nationally in The Merchant of Venice and The Players (Bell Shakespeare). He is now set to appear in Belvoir’s production of Counting and Cracking in 2019.
Shiv recently starred in Tom Wilson-White’s magical realist feature film The Greenhouse. His television credits include Cleverman and Growing Up Gracefully, both for ABC. Most recently, Shiv starred in the short film Among Men (Dir. Ande Cunningham). Shiv is a member of theatre ensemble The Corinthian Food Store Collective, and has a background of physical theatre training – Suzuki, Viewpoints, Butoh.
