    Praised by The Cincinnati Enquirer as playing with “combined bravura and artistry” for his interpretation of Rachmaninov’s third piano concerto with Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and by Frequent Business Traveler as “majestic and lyrical” for his recital at Carnegie Hall in 2015, Moye Chen has performed extensively as a concert pianist in America, Europe, Asia and Oceania.
    Mr. Chen is the recording artist of Universal Music. His album Four Worlds on the Deutsche Grammophon label was awarded the “Best Solo Album” of the Jubilee Award in Guangzhou, and commented “…With colossal authority and not a little fantasy.” It was described by Limelight Magazine as a performance “leaves one with the feeling that here is a remarkable talent and the prospect of hearing him perform some of the more substantial works in the repertoire is an exciting one.” The Australian later added for his rendition of Rachmaninov’s sonata: “Could the composer-pianist himself have achieved any better?” Some of his other recordings have been collected in the album Encore! on the ABC Classics label.
    Mr. Chen is the winner of competitions such as the world-renowned Sydney International Piano Competition and Cincinnati World Piano Competition. He was awarded the 2017 Center for Musical Excellence (CME) International Performing Arts Grant, the 2015 Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship and the 2014 Feltsman Piano Foundation Scholarship.
    A native of Beijing, China, Moye Chen studied at Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where he currently serves as Associate Professor of Piano; his Artist Diploma and Doctor of Musical Arts degree were conferred respectively by Oberlin Conservatory of Music and University of Illinois. His principal teachers include Hung-Kuan Chen, Angela Cheng, Robert Hamilton, William Heiles and Xiaosheng Zhao.

    Eduard Topchjan studied violin at the Yerevan Conservatory before advancing his conducting skills under the mentorship of distinguished Armenian conductor Ohan Durian. He also received valuable guidance from renowned maestros Sir Georg Solti, Claudio Abbado, and Nello Santi. Topchjan began his conducting career in 1991 and, with friends from the Yerevan Conservatory, founded the Serenade Chamber Orchestra. This ensemble quickly gained prominence, becoming one of Armenia's most celebrated orchestras. The Serenade Chamber Orchestra established an outstanding reputation in Europe, winning numerous international competitions and releasing acclaimed recordings in collaboration with prominent record labels.
    In 2000, Eduard Topchjan made his debut with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra and was appointed its Artistic Director and Principal Conductor the same year. He has also served as the artistic director for several important music festivals and has been the principal conductor of the Yerevan International Music Festival since 2007, which annually attracts many world-renowned musicians.
    Topchjan's exceptional talent and distinctive conducting style have captivated audiences worldwide, earning him high praise and public acclaim. In 2007 he was granted the title of Meritorious Worker of Arts of Armenia. In 2011 he was awarded a Gold Medal of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia. In Autumn 2013, Maestro Topchjan was granted knighthood with the Italian Order of Merit for Labour (OML). On June 28, 2016 by decision of President of RA Eduard Topchjan was awarded with the second-class Medal of Services to the Motherland.   
    Under his leadership, the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra celebrated its 90th consecutive season with the status of a national orchestra.
