Piano: Shen Lu
Shen Lu, holds a Doctorate in Piano Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music. He is a recipient of China's highest music award, the Golden Bell Award, as well as numerous international piano competition accolades. As a signed artist with Yangtze River Piano and Vice President of the Social Music Art Committee of the Guangdong Musicians Association, he serves as one of the youngest returnee faculty members in the Piano Department at Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou.
Shen Lu's solo piano recitals at Carnegie Hall have been highly praised by The Musical Times, which hailed his performances as the perfect blend of technique and musicality. Esteemed pianist John O’Conor and the Spanish newspaper El Adelantado de Segovia have also given him high acclaim. Alexander Korsantia described Shen as a mature and talented pianist whose diverse repertoire and heartfelt performances resonate deeply with audiences. Shen won the Gold Medal at the Hilton Head International Piano Competition in the United States and has placed highly in various other competitions both domestically and internationally.
Shen Lu has released a personal album titled "Watercolors," and has been recognized as one of China's top ten pianists by Huaxia Piano Elite. Guido Johannes Rumstadt, born in Heidelberg, Germany, pursued his musical education at the Karlsruhe University of Music, Hamburg University of Music, and the Mozarteum University Salzburg in Austria.
After graduating, he served as the music director at the state operas of Wiesbaden and Frankfurt in Germany. During this period, he guest-conducted at major opera houses and orchestras worldwide, including the English National Opera, New York City Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Cologne Opera, and La Monnaie in Brussels.
From 1998 to 2004, Rumstadt was the music director of the Regensburg State Opera, where he was named Germany’s Conductor of the Year in 2001 by the esteemed magazine Opernwelt.
