About
Scott MacAllister was born in Glenwood Springs / USA and studied in Idaho and Boston / Massachusetts.
After his debut at the Western Opera San Francisco, he went to Europe and was initially engaged for four seasons at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège. As an ensemble member of the National Theater Mannheim belonged from 1989 u. a. Hoffmann (Les contes d 'Hoffmann), Max (Der Freischütz) and Alwa (Lulu) to his repertoire. He also guested with roles such as Vitek (The Makropulos case), Florestan (Fidelio), Loge (Das Rheingold) and the title roles in Lohengrin and Tannhäuser u. a. in Tyrol, Innsbruck, Bari, Tokyo and Paris as well as at the Volksoper Vienna, the Hamburg State Opera and the Semperoper Dresden.
