Since graduating from NIDA in 1983, Ritchie has worked extensively in all mediums.
Stage highlights: As Dodge in Sam Shepard’s ‘Buried Child’ at NIDA directed by Kevin Jackson, Hans in David Williamson’s ‘The Department’ directed by Rodney Fisher. Australian tour of Neil Simon’s ‘The Odd Couple’ (female version) directed by Graham Blundell and ‘Laughter on the 23rd Floor’ for the Ensemble Theatre directed by Adam Cook. Special memories of a national tour that starred Lauren Bacall in ‘Sweet Bird of Youth’ back in 1988. Film favorites include Con in ‘Crocodile Dundee’, the Rev Rick for Lionsgate’s ‘Rapturepalooza’ and Dr Symonds in ‘Charlie’s Country’ for Rolf De Heer. On television,:Terry Madigan in ‘Water Rats’, Richard Shapiro in ‘Dynasty: The Making Of A Guilty Pleasure’ for Hallmark Films USA and Justice Rosenberg for ABC’s ‘Crownies’ 2011. Ritchie appears in ‘The Reckoning’ for Sony Pictures/ Playmaker Films in 2019.
