Born in Faenza. From a very young age he has proven to have strong musical skills that will push him to undertake the study of the organ and composition at the “L. Cherubini ”of Florence and later at the Conservatory "G. B. Martini ”of Bologna where he will graduate with full marks in Organ and Composition Organist in 1989 at the school of G. G. Sirolli.

In 1994, within the same Institute, obtains the Composition diploma with F. Carluccio and in 1997 the Harpsichord diploma at the “G. Rossini ”of Pesaro. In 1989 and then in 1992 and 1994 he attended the master classes in music
ancient with L. F. Tagliavini, K. Schnorr, A. Curtis. Between 1997 and 2000 he attended the course three-year harpsichord at the prestigious Fiesole Music School with A. Fedi. In 1998 he won second prize at the 1st National Harpsichord Competition"G. Stems "of Pesaro. He is a scholar and interpreter of early organ music. His repertoire includes most of the works of numerous and famous composers Italians and foreigners from the Middle Ages to the Baroque. He is regularly invited to perform in important reviews of concerts on keyboards of famous Italian historical organs such as the organ G. Antegnati (1565) of the Basilica Palatina of Santa Barbara in Mantua, the organ G. Cipri (1556) of the Basilica of S. Martino Maggiore in Bologna, the instruments born from the hands of the famous Brescian organ builders Colonna and Traeri (1638-1677), the organ Olgiati-Mauro (1628) of the Chiesa Matrice di Salve near Leuca, the oldest instrument now preserved in Puglia. He has worked for over ten years with the School Civic of Music "G. Sarti ”of Faenza both as a teacher and as artistic director and has been dealing since 2000, on behalf of the Diocesan Office for Sacred Art and Heritage Cultural of Faenza, of the filing and protection of organs and manuscripts musical properties of the Diocese of Faenza. He holds a Chair in Theory of music at the "G. Rossini ”of Pesaro.
He is invited to participate as a jury member in international competitions of harpsichord. He has recorded on the harpsichord the Bramdemburgh concerts 1-2-5-6 of Johann Sebastian Bach and the complete collection of Antonio Estro Armonico concerts Vivaldi.
