Studied at Bergamo’s “Donizetti” conservatory. Renato Filisetti post graduate studies were with Christian Lindberg and Rex Martin. He played in the Florence and Venice opera houses before becoming 2nd. trombone at la Scala in 1981.
Renato Filisetti completed his musical studies under the guidance of Maestro Giancarlo Corsini (first trombone RAI Symphony Orchestra of Milan) at the Musical Institute "G. Donizetti "of Bergamo graduating in 1980 with the highest marks and in the same year he won the" Simone Mayr "award for best school diploma.
In 1980 and 1981 he won the competition as the first trombone for the Italian Youth Orchestra. Renato Filisetti obtained the suitability for the European Community Orchestra (ECYO) and won the competition for the Experimental Laboratory of Alessandria.
In September 1980 he collaborates with the orchestra of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino then directed by Maestro Riccardo Muti and collaborates with the RAI Orchestra of Milan.
Later held the position of first trombone at the new Tuscan Regional Orchestra.
In November 1981 he won the trombone competitions at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice and the second trombone at the Teatro Alla Scala orchestra, becoming part of the same under the direction of Maestro Claudio Abbado.
Founder of the Filarmonica Della Scala since 1982, in addition to having held institutional roles, he has participated in all the activities both in the headquarters and in the numerous tours around the world and to the recording business.
