He has been engaged in theatre since 1980, starting in the Free scene with "Theater Holte Kreta", as well as the "theater syndicate Pavian Paten", following activities at the "Westphalian Landestheater" Castrop-Rauxel and the "Ruhr festival Recklinghausen", he has been working as a freelance lighting designer since 1996 and involved in various productions in the field of scenic presentation. He is also technical director of the "Flöz family" Masquerade theater.
