Quartetto Adorno made itself known internationally by winning the Third Prize (with Primo not awarded), the Audience Award and the Special Prize for the best performance of the contemporary piece by Silvia Colasanti in the 2017 edition of the Paolo Borciani International Competition ". In the thirty-year history of the Competition, no Italian quartet had gained such an important recognition.
In 2018 Quartetto Adorno is winner of the X Edition of the International Competition for string quartet "V. E. Rimbotti ”and also becomes an associated artist in residence at the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth in Brussels.
In 2019 Quartetto Adorno receives a prestigious artistic recognition receiving the "A life in music young 2019" Award.
Founded in 2015 by Edoardo Zosi, Liù Pelliciari, Benedetta Bucci and Danilo Squitieri, he specialized at the Fiesole Music School.
The name of the Quartet is a tribute to the philosopher Theodor Wiesengrund Adorno who, in an age of musical and social decline, identified chamber music as a key to salvation to perpetuate a true human relationship, according to the values of respect and desire for perfection.

Winners in the "2016 ISA Internationale Sommerakademie" Award "2. Wiener Schule Preis ”for the best performance of a quartet belonging to the second Vienna school, they performed live on the radio for the ORF Radio KulturHaus in Vienna. Very interested in contemporary music, the Quartet is dedicated to the song by Regis Campò Energy / Fly.
In 2017, the Quartetto Adorno was selected for the project "The Quartets of the Quartet" and was named effective ensemble of the ECMA-European Chamber Music Academy founded by Hatto Beyerle.
Quartetto Adorno collaborates with great artists such as: P. Badura-Skoda, B. Canino, A. Carbonare, S. Gramaglia, F. Meloni, P. Meyer, G. Sollima.

In the Seasons 2019/20/21 Quartetto Adorno will be involved in the execution of the complete Beethoven quartets at the "Lucchese Music Association", Viotti Festival "in Vercelli, Friends of Music of Cagliari," Musikamera "at the Sala Apollinea del Teatro La Fenice of Venice, Teatro Bellini of Catania.
