With their seventh studio album "The Sacrament of Sin" (Napalm / Universal), the high priests of heavy metal caused a sensation again: They received another gold award and for the first time they went platinum with the single "Demons are a girl's best friend" in Czech Republic. Furthermore, Powerwolf stormed to number 1 in the official German TOP 100 album charts with their highly acclaimed album "The Sacrament of Sin".
The subsequent headlining shows at various festivals (ROCK HARZ, SUMMER BREEZE, BANG YOUR HEAD, MASTERS OF ROCK etc.) and the subsequent headlining tour in October 2018 and January 2019 were a triumph: houses sold out all over Europe and a brilliant stage show that resembles an absolute spectacle: Because POWERWOLF not only convince canned, but and especially on stage, where they prove to be true masters of entertainment, who celebrate a huge metal party with their fans at every appearance. The band holds a true metal mass and plays skillfully with religious / spiritualistic elements.
The new and opulently developed stage design ensures the appropriate, festive and exuberant atmosphere and takes every viewer into a different world. But without the obligatory blessing by front priest Attila Dorn, Powerwolf won't let any of their metal disciples home.
POWERWOLF simply combine all aspects into a rousing, goose bumps evoking overall experience, which has earned them the reputation as one of the best live bands ever. The credo is and remains: METAL IS RELIGION!
