The German tenor, Patrick Grahl, was from 1998 to 2006 a member of the Thomanerchor Leipzig under Professor Georg Christoph Biller.
During his time in the choir he emerged as a soloist and worked with the Thomanerchor Leipzig in radio and CD productions. Following his vocal training lessons with Gotthold Schwarz, he studied since October 2006 singing with Professor Friedemann Röhlig at the Leipzig's Musikhochschule "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy". After his graduation in 2013, he continued his studies in the class of Professor Berthold Schmid at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig.
As a soloist, Patrick Grahl is now appearing throughout the country as an oratorio and concert singer, working with conductors such as Hermann Max, Ludwig Güttler, or Georg Christoph Biller. Courses with Kammersängerin Ileana Cotrubas and Professor Karl-Peter Kammerlander gave him important impetus for his artistic work. In addition, since 2002 he is the tenor in the men quintet Thios Omilos, which consists of former members of the Thomanerchor Leipzig, and with which he successfully performs gigs all over Germany and abroad and has won numerous awards. Recently they were guests of the People's Republic of China. In the past years he has gained experience on stage in high school productions, with roles such as Alfred in Strauss' Die Fledermaus, Tamino in 's and Albert in 's Albert Herring. In addition, he was holder of the Günther-Ramin-Legates der Stiftung Thomanerchor 2006, and in 2010-2013 he received Scholarship of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Bonn.
