About
Patricia Hofstede is a costume and fashion designer based in Amsterdam. Her creative style is predominated by colours, patterns and symbolism.
She is a self-taught designer and developed her own label Bravoure in 2009. In 2015, she established Atelier Paradis – a studio/boutique with products locally made using durable materials. Her production has expanded into the fields of arts, music and theater. Recent highlights are her costumes for L’incoronazione di Poppea, Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria and L’orfeo, all by Monteverdi, for the festivals in Edinburgh and Salzburg. Patricia Hofstede is designing for Bergen National Opera for the first time.
