He was born in Seville in 1966. He is a musical director, composer and guitarist. His first contacts with the guitar and flamenco occur at the age of 8 from the hand of his father, guitarist Luis Franco. He completed his knowledge of flamenco guitar with studies at the Conservatory of Music of Seville, where he met the concert guitar. His interest in the composition is clear and this is demonstrated by the numerous orders he receives from great flamenco dance figures, such as Mario Maya, Farruco, Matilde Coral or Javier Latorre, among other artists. He has accompanied the greats of singing like Niña de la Puebla, Chano Lobato, Carmen Linares, Juan Peña "El Lebrijano", Pepe de Lucía, El Pele, Chocolate or Enrique Morente.
Since 1998, he has been composer of Eva Yerbabuena's show music, for which he has received awards such as the 2004 Giraldillo for best original music for ‘A four voices’ and in 2006 to Toque. In 2008 he presented his first solo work with Segundo Falcón ‘At the Iberia Bar’, at the Flamenco Biennial. With Falcón repeat show in 2012 with ‘Between the lip and the kiss’, a tribute to Agustín Lara and in 2014 with ‘Y Sevilla’. His career is closely linked to the Eva Yerbabuena Company, for which he is currently composing the music of what will be his next show, 'Sugar Tales', work that combines with teaching and with the premiere of a solo recital,' Flamencorio ', which will be released in September 2018.
