He studied set design and stage direction at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona. He has performed more than one hundred and fifty sets for opera, theater, dance and musical. In Spain, it develops its activity mainly in theaters and public festivals, such as the National Dramatic Center, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Teatre Lliure, Spanish Theater, Teatre Nacional de Catalunya and Festival Barcelona Grec, among others.

As a stage director, in 2003 he created and directed the Shakespeare Festival of Santa Susana, where he directed in 2007 the absolute premiere of a still unpublished text: “HAMLET: THE DAY OF THE MURDERERS”, by Bernard-Marie Koltès.

He directs opera, zarzuela and theater. Among the most outstanding titles are “MARUXA”, by Amadeo Vives (Teatro de la Zarzuela), “MARÍA MOLINER”, by Antoni Parera Fons (Teatro de la Zarzuela), “DON GIOVANNI”, by WA Mozart (Teatro Comunale, Sassari , Italy). “OTELLO”, by G. Verdi (Castell de Peralada Festival 2015). "SALOMÉ", by Richard Strauss (Merida Festival). “UNA VOCE IN OFF”, by Xavier Montsalvatge (Gran Teatre del Liceu). “LA VOIX HUMAINE”, by Francis Poulenc (Theaters del Canal and Gran Teatre del Liceu). “TOSCA” by Giacomo Puccini (Gran Teatre del Liceu and Teatro de la Maestranza). "JULIO CÉSAR", by William Shakespeare (Festival of Classical Theater of Mérida, Teatro Circo Murcia and Metaproducciones). “WITH THE FEET IN THE MOON”, a documentary opera by Antoni Parera Fons (Gran Teatre del Liceu, Teatro Real de Madrid and Teatro de la Maestranza).

As a set designer, he usually works with the directors Lluís Pasqual (“La casa de Bernarda Alba”, “Hamlet”, “La Tempestad”, “Quitt”…) and Carme Portaceli (“Ricardo II”, “Before retirement”, “Lear "," Prometheus "," The nostra class "...). He has also worked with Mario Gas, Francisco Negrín, Helena Pimenta, Sergi Belbel, Victor Ullate, Ernesto Caballero and Miguel del Arco.

He has been awarded, among others, with the awards of the Critic Serra d'Or 2004, Armchair 2004, Josep Solbes 2005 Prize of the Generalitat Valenciana for the best lighting and scenery for "Chicken Soup with Barley" and the Arts Award Scenic of the Generalitat Valenciana for the best scenery in 2008 for "The Tangles of Scapin" and Armchair 2009 and Award of the Association of Stage Directors (ADE), both for "The House of Bernarda Alba", production of the National Theater of Catalonia and Spanish Theater of Madrid, as well as the Ceres award for the best set designer of 2013 and Cerino 2018.

The critic has highlighted his interesting aesthetic contribution, as well as the variety of genres and formats through which he has managed to draw a clearly personal line.

He is an academic of the Spanish Academy of Performing Arts.
