The Santa Cecilia Classical Orchestra is made up of professors with extensive experience who have played in the lecterns of the most prestigious orchestras in Spain and Europe, and which allows the classical repertoires to be cultivated with the highest quality.
It has been directed by important teachers such as Grzegorz Nowak, Michail Jurowski, Jean-Jacques Kantorow, Thomas Sanderling, Kynan Johns, János Kovács, Alexander Polyanichko, Henrik Schaefer, Michael Christie, Jonas Alber, Julian Kuerti, among others.
They have also performed together with the Santa Cecilia Classical Orchestra, instrumental soloists such as Krystian Zimerman, Nicola Benedetti, Vesko Eschkenazy, Renaud Capuçon, Maxim Rysanov, Radovan Vlatkovic, Leticia Moreno, Eric Le Sage, Judith Jáuregui, Konstantin Lifschitz, Eldar Nebolsin, Eldar Nebolsin, Eldar Nebolsin , among other great soloists of the international scene. .
The Orchestra regularly invites concert performers from the best orchestras in the world, such as the Royal Contergebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Philharmonia, to name a few. He has also performed on stages such as the Teatro Real de Madrid, the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao and the Palau de las Arts in Valencia, the Miguel Delibes Auditorium in Valladolid and the Auditorium in Zaragoza, among many other selected locations.
In the 19/20 season, the Orchestra performs concerts at the National Auditorium of Madrid, Teatro Real, Palau and Auditori de Barcelona, Auditorium of Zaragoza, Palau de la Música de Valencia, with a total of 90 concerts per season.
