Olga Xanthopoulou is an international opera singer based in New York.
Greek lyric soprano Olga Xanthopoulou was born in Thessaloniki.
She graduated from the Opera School of the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki.
In 2006 she continued her studies in New York next to distinctive teachers and coaches of the Juilliard School of Music, the Metropolitan Opera and the Manhattan School of Music.
She has collaborated with Dicapo Opera of New York, New York Lyric Opera,
Light Opera of New York, Brooklyn Opera, Victor Herbert Operetta Project, Divaria Productions in the roles of Musetta (La Boheme), Micaela (Carmen),
Adina (L'elixir d'amore), Gilda (Rigoletto), Beauty (Beauty and the Beast),
Sylvia (Sweethearts), Roxanne (Cyrano de Bergerac), Masha (The Seagull).
In 2014/2015 season she joined the Metropolitan Opera Chorus for the production of Die Meistersinger by Wagner.
She will join them again next season 2016/2017 for the production of Fidelio by Beethoven.
As a soloist she has collaborated with the Grammy nominated cellist David Edgar and the Oscar nominated composer John Powell.
