Born in a family with a long theatrical tradition, she trained as a dancer in the Spanish National Ballet School, entering the company where she remains four years.
Member of the most prestigious Spanish and flamenco dance companies: National Ballet of Spain, Antonio Gades Company or Spanish Ballets of José Antonio. He has danced as a couple of J. Cortes and J. Antonio all over the world: Abraham Lincoln Center N. York, Chatelet Paris, Opera of Rome, Lyceum, Royal, etc. Guest dancer at the inauguration of the Seville Expo and the celebration of the entry of Poland into the U.E. As a choreographer, she has performed: Scenic Tonadilla, Carmen, La Rondine, La Mala Sombra, El Asombro de Damasco, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Don Giovanni, Pagliacci, La Gran Via, Luisa Fernanda, El Chanteur de Mexico, Rigoletto, La Vida breve, The dream of a summer night, La bruja, Rossiniana, The night of San Juan, Pan y Toros, Nozze di Figaro (Real, 2009) and the Bestiary ballet (Real, 2010), working with directors such as JC Plaza, F. Nieva, L. Pascual, H. Pimenta, E. Sagi, T. Towsen, J. Castejon or E. Vasco. In cinema she was a flamenco teacher of Penelope Cruz in the movie Volver.
