Started his violin lessons at the age of five at the pedagogue Coosje Wijzenbeek, from which he eventually received 13 years of lessons. Noa played under the wings of Coosje as the concertmaster of her string ensemble the "Fancy Fiddlers".
With this ensemble he made a CD with works by Tony Eyk, of which a piece for solo violin was dedicated to Noa.
Noa also played a lot of chamber music within this ensemble, including a string quartet with which he won the international string quartet Charles Hennen competition at the age of 13. This resulted in many performances at home and abroad, including Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and the Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi).
For this string quartet, the composer Willem Wander van Nieuwkerk has written a special string quartet called Kalenda Maya.
Noa has also won many prizes as a soloist, including the Iordens violin days and twice the Princess Christina competition, which resulted in a concert at Carnegie Hall New York.
He attended many masterclasses with members of the Alban Berg quartet and the Rubens quartet, and he also received individual masterclasses from Jaap van Zweden, Benzion Shamir and Herman Krebbers.
After his studies with Coosje, Noa moved on to the main subject course at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. There he was taught by Jaring Walta (former concertmaster Residentie orchestra).
In his second year at the Conservatory he turned his attention to jazz and folk music, but this was not possible at the time to study at a conservatory as a violinist. Noa therefore also finished his studies and continued his studies after a year of sabbatical, with jazz violinist Jeffrey Bruinsma at the conservatory in Amsterdam who had just started there as a jazz-violin teacher. But that also proved to be insufficient since the requirement to continue studying there was that he had to stop his classical activities and way of playing.
Noa also finished his studies there and then started self-study.
During his studies at the conservatory, Noa played in a gypsy ensemble to earn extra money. This has eventually become one of his areas of expertise and for which he is still regularly asked to this day.
He continued his studies in Belgium with private lessons with the multi-instrumentalist and expert in folk music Tcha Limberger, with whom he occasionally gives performances.
Noa has also made many trips to small art. Together with Max Douw and Elisabeth Boor, he worked on the children's performance 'the violin and the bow'.
Together with Max Douw and with directional advice from Karel de Rooij, they made the theater performance "Blanco" together.
And Noa played as an actor in the docu drama 'Ongewisse Tijd' by Diego Pos.
Noa has since grown into a musical centipede.
He worked with rock bands such as Di-Rect at the Sziget Festival in Budapest but also a lot of jazz, all kinds of folk music from the Balkans and Ireland.
He collaborated with Herman van Veen on the founding of the Harlekijn Chamber Orchestra.
Noa now plays as Stehgeiger with the Masqué Salon Orchestra, with various gypsy ensembles and also as a classical violinist in the newly founded symphony orchestra Mokum Symphony in Amsterdam and JACE (Jewish Amsterdam Chamber Ensemble)
Noa plays a violin from 1783 (Withalm Lauten Nürnberg) on loan from the National Instrument Fund (NMF).
