About
Since its founding in 1987, the choir has collaborated with, among others, the Residentie Orchestra, the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
The choir also experienced many conductors from home and abroad, such as Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Jaap van Zweden and Marc Albrecht. The repertoire contains the major choral works from the eighteenth century to the present. Well-known works were performed such as Verdi's Requiem, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Britten's War Requiem, Mahler's Second Symphony, Rachmaninov's Vespers, Hans Kox's Anne Frank Cantate, and Berlioz's Grande Messe des Morts.
