Misha Cliquennois began his musical studies at the age of seven at the National Conservatory of Lille where he won a first prize for horn and chamber music. In 1991, he entered the National Conservatory of Music of Paris in the class of André Cazalet. In 1994, he won a first prize for horn unanimously with congratulations and a first prize for chamber music; the same year he is admitted to the advanced course.
Subsequently, he regularly works with the radio orchestras France, the Paris orchestra and the Opéra Bastille.
In 1995, he was solo horn of the Gustav Malher Jungend Orchester conducted by Claudio Abbado and Pierre Boulez. In 1997, he returned to the Karajan Academy which allowed him to play in the Berlin Philharmonic under the direction of the greatest conductors.
In 1998, he is solo horn of the Malher chamber orchestra conducted by Daniel Harding and since 1999 he is soloist of the Paris Opera.
This does not prevent him from participating in numerous chamber music festivals with Gérard Poulet, Renaud Capuçon, Augustin Dumay, Nicholas Angelich, Emmanuel Pahud, François Leleux, Menhaim Perssler ...
In 2004, he founded the C4 Horn Quartet. In 2005, he joined the jazz ensemble Just A 7, and as a trumpet player he created his own salsa group: The salsa chamber orchestra.
