Michele Pertusi (Parma, 12 January 1965) is an Italian bass.
He studied at the Arrigo Boito Conservatory of Parma with Mauro Uberti, graduating in singing and piano. He then followed lectures by Arrigo Pola, Carlo Bergonzi and Rodolfo Celletti.
In 1984 he made his debut as Monterone, in Piazza Duomo in Pistoia, in a concert version of Rigoletto conducted by Bruno Bartoletti and, after winning the competition announced by the Teatro Comunale di Modena to choose the Ernani cast, on December 13th of the same year he played on stage his first character, Silva.
He has performed in the most prestigious Italian and international theaters, such as La Scala in Milan, Teatro Regio in Turin, La Fenice in Venice, the Metropolitan in New York and the Royal Opera House in London, directed among others by Georg Solti, Riccardo Muti , Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta.
On television he appeared in the role of Mustafà in L'Italiana in Algeri interpreted in 2012 under the direction of Paolo Olmi at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna and broadcast by Rai 3 in 2013 and by Rai 5 in 2014 and 2016.
