Michal Kolaczkowski is a New York based performer represented by CESD Talent Agency. He is currently dancing in the ensemble of La Traviata at The Metropolitan Opera in New York City!
Born outside of Detroit, Michigan, Michal was raised by two ballroom dancers and began performing at a young age. So, naturally, he went to college and studied Marketing and International Business at Michigan State University. While getting his business degree, Michal snuck away to the theatre building where he really thrived. Following graduation, Michal moved to New York and trained through Broadway Dance Center's Professional Semester Training Program, The Verdon Fosse Legacy, and ALMA NYC, a new theatrical dance company.
Other professional theatrical credits include CHICAGO (US National Tour), Dirty Dancing (US National Tour), Disney's Beauty and the Beast (National Tour & 20th Anniversary International Tour), Bye Bye Birdie (Goodspeed Opera House), Memphis (John W. Engeman Theatre) and iLuminate’s The Tourist. Also, he recently finished a workshop for a new musical The Wanderer here in New York City. Television and commercial credits include the Amazon series Modern Love, Katy Keene pilot for The CW Network, So Danca Shoes, CityRow Go, New York Fashion Week, and Good Morning America. Michal also performed in over 10 productions aboard Crystal Cruises and choreographed special events for Crystal’s 2014 World Cruise including LuWow! and Dancing With The Crew. Michal currently teaches masterclasses across the country through Stage Door Workshops.
