Maxim Pasteur is a Russian Opera singer (tenor), teacher, and soloist at the Bolshoi theatre.
He was born in Kharkov in a family of choirboys. In 1994 he graduated from the choral conducting Department of the Kharkiv music school (class of A. Koshman and A. Linkov), in 2003-vocal faculty of the Kharkiv state Institute of arts (class of Professor L. Tsurkan; class of chamber singing-D. handelman).
In 2002-2003, a soloist with the Kharkov theatre of Opera and ballet. In 2003 he made his debut at the national Opera of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko in "Requiem" by J. Verdi.
In 2003 he made his debut at the Bolshoi theatre as Bayan at the premiere of the Opera Ruslan and Lyudmila by M. Glinka.
In 2004 he was admitted to the Bolshoi theatre of Russia.
Since 2013 he has been teaching at RATI, senior lecturer of the Department of vocal art.
