2011
Almost age twelve Maxim has a quick start when he begins his music and piano lessons.
2012
Age twelve he performs in the finals of the Royal Concertgebouw Competition, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Turkse Mars, W.A. Mozart.
2013
Invited by Michael Gieler, 1 st alt-violinist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Maxim plays his first official solo recital in the ‘Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ’ in Amsterdam. Clementi, Schumann He also performs there ‘quatre mains’ with the famous Dutch pianist Daria van den Bercken.
2014
Re-invated to perform at the “Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ”, this time to play together with an ensemble of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Mozart Piano Quartet .
2014 and 2015
He participates at the “Summer Academy” of “The Peter de Grote Festival” in Groningen in the Netherlands. There he joins individual Master Classes by: Igor Roma, Paul Komen, Nata Tsvereli, Ilona Temchenko. Both summers he wins prizes at this Festival. Chopin Etude
2015
Is an important year in which he got accepted to the so called “Young Talent Class” of the Conservatory of Amsterdam, the “Sweelinck Academy”. From then on Mila Baslawskaja will be his teacher. Haydn Sonate .
2016
On invitation his first compositions for a small ensemble actually being performed for a huge audience in a beautiful theatre near Amsterdam. Ashkenazi Soul
2017
Maxim wins the first prize at the Regional Finals of the National Princes Christina Concours. And later on that year he performed at the Royal Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, where he was invited to compose a new and alternative “end” to the Prokofjev music of “Peter and the wolf”. Executed by the “Maestro Jules Ensemble” conducted by Jules van Hessen. Other highlights: Beethoven piano trio, Chopin Etude and Mendelssohn piano trio
2018
Again he wins the first prize at the Regional Finals of the National Princes Christina Concours and also performs in the National semi finals of this Concours. Mendelssohn Variations Sérieuses. In April he auditions to become a piano student, classical music at the “Conservatory of Amsterdam”. And Maxim age seventeen at the time got accepted, starting his official Conservatory studies September 2018.
There have been many, many performances over the years. Among these a television show called “Super Kids” as well as a radio show specialised in Classical music that broadcasted him playing Mozart with an ensemble of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
Maxim has been invited to play on various occasions at private parties, charity events, companies, but also regular concerts in churches and theatres all over The Netherlands. He has also performed on many official occasions in presence of the former Israeli Ambassador of The Netherlands, Mr. Chaim Divon and current Ambassador Mr. Aviv Shir-On.
He even performed in Israël last winter. Maxim loves to compose and improvise and that’s what he does next to playing the old masters. He played in a big band for six years where he could express his love for jazz and Israeli- as well as Jewish music . His wish is to become a pianist and composer travelling the world and reach out and touch people’s heart with his music. Classical music aswell as his own music for orchestra’s and film music.
