Born Parma in 1974, he graduated in 1997 under the guidance of master Wim Jansenn and perfected himself with master Danilo Rossi.
Winner of the Accademia Rolla scholarship of Pavia and Gustav Mahler Jugend Orchester, Matteo Amadasi has collaborated as Prima Viola with the San Carlo Theater Orchestra of Naples, the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio of Parma, l Orchestra of the Lyric Theater of Cagliari, the Italian Youth Orchestra and the Pavia Soloists, the Emilia Romagna Regional Orchestra and the Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic. His chamber music activity has involved him with musicians such as Enrico Dindo, Danilo Rossi, Mario Brunello, Bruno Canino, Giovanni Sollima, Marco Rizzi, Andrea Lucchesini. Since 2011 Viola di Fila of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
