Massimo Zanetti convinces with its dynamic and perfect presence both on the orchestra podium and in the orchestra pit. With his interpretations of the Italian repertoire of the 19th century. he impresses on stages worldwide. As a new chief conductor of the Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra, Massimo Zanetti regularly conducts in Seoul from the 2018/19 season. He also began a close collaboration between symphonic concerts and opera productions with the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari. Furthermore, significant concerts with the RSB, the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Daegu Symphony Orchestra and the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, as well as "Madama Butterfly" at the Sydney Opera House. As a guest conductor, he performs regularly in important houses, including the Teatro alla Scala, the Teatro Comunale in Florence, The Teatro Regio in Parma, the Semperoper Dresden, the Bavarian State Opera, The Lyric Opera in Chicago, the San Diego Opera, the Liceu Opera Barcelona and the NCPA Beijing. In the concert he works regularly among others. with the Czech Philharmonic, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin and the Staatskapelle Weimar. In Asia, he established a close relationship with the NHK Symphony Tokyo as well as with the China Philharmonic Orchestra and the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra.
Maestro Zanetti's CD - and DVD-recordings include "The Verdi Album" with Sonya Yoncheva, Verdi's "Simon Boccanegra", "Rigoletto", "I vespri siciliani" and a recording of Flavio Testis "Saül".
