Martin Klepper, born in Oldenburg, studied violin with Gert Hoelscher, Axel Gerhard and Michel Schwalbé in Würzburg and Berlin.
He worked so far u.a. was with the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Philharmonic and the Berlin Philharmonic and 1986-88 permanent member of the Philharmonic String Virtuoso Berlin. Inspired by the ideas of Nikolaus Harnoncourt, playing with conductors such as Ivor Bolton, Sir Charles Mackerras, Joshua Rifkin, Harry Bicket and studies Since 1991 Mickela Comberti in London has been intensively involved with the performance practice of Baroque music. He has performed with numerous baroque ensembles such as the Musici de Monte Docto Freising, La Bavara and La Musica Vivaldi Bamberg, the South German Vocal Ensemble Munich, La Folia Freising and the New Munich Court Orchestra. Since 1988 he is a member of the Bavarian State Orchestra as second violinist.
