After studying double bass at the Tyrolean State Conservatory, Markus Kraler, born in Innsbruck in 1974, followed various Engagements as an orchestra and ensemble musician in a wide variety of musical Genres, from contemporary music to folk music. Markus Kraler is a co-founder of the music Banda Franui, a ten-member Austria music ensemble explores dances and funeral marches Gustav Mahler, Franz Schubert and Johannes Brahms. Since 1993 he acts as a composer and double bassist in numerous concerts, international Festivals and major theatre on stage with the Ensemble, such as at the Salzburger Festspiele, the Burgtheater in Vienna, at the Ruhr Triennale, at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg, the Munich Opera festival or at the Theater in der Josefstadt.
