Marie-Sophie Pollak is a German Opera and concert singer (soprano).

Marie-Sophie Pollak performs in concerts as well as on opera stage. In 2011, she made her first professional appearance while she was still a student, performing Vespetta in Georg Philipp Telemann's Pimpinone in Innsbruck. In addition, she has performed the roles of Despina in W.A. Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte (Reaktorhalle Munich), Blonde in W.A. Mozart’s Abduction from the Seraglio (Festival Bad Reichenhall), Belinda in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas (Academie Theater Munich), Bemira in G.P. Telemann’s opera Miriways (Bruckner Festival Linz), La Dirindina by D. Scarlatti (Innsbruck festival/Turin festival) and Almirena in George Frideric Handel’s Rinaldo (Theater Schweinfurt and Leverkusen). 

Marie-Sophie Pollak has worked with renowned conductors including Wolfgang Katschner, Alessandro de Marchi, Jean-Christophe Spinosi and Kent Nagano.

Last summer Marie-Sophie Pollak performed at the music festival Potsdam, singing J.S. Bach (BWV 212) and W.A. Mozart Bastien und Bastienne. In January 2015 she performed in the role of Tamiri at the Théatre du Châtelet in Paris, in W.A. Mozart’s Il re pastore. Last year’s highlights were Haydn’s Jahreszeiten at the Audi Summer concerts under Kent Nagano and G.F. Handelunder Martin Haselböck in Vienna.
