Graduated in musicology (School of Paleography and Musical Philology of Cremona) and graduated in piano, she mainly devoted herself to the study of Italian music between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. He has published books and essays for Olschki, ETS, Brepols, L'epos, Lim, Ut Orpheus, Marsilio, Suvini Zerboni, Carisch, Rugginenti, compiled numerous entries for The New Grove (2 edition) and MGG and edited the critical edition of instrumental compositions (N. Paganini, GB Viotti, A. Rolla, S. Mercadante) and works (Giovanni Battista and Giuseppe Samamrtini, N. Traetta, N. Jommelli, M. Portugal from Fonseca, A. Stradella) performed in world premiere at major international festivals.
Mariateresa Dellaborra is a member of the steering committee of the Italian Society of Musicology, in charge of the corporate publishing sector, of the scientific committee of the Arcadia association (Milan) and of the complete works of Ercole Pasquini.
She is part of the ITMI working group (Indices of Italian Music Treatises), Florence, Franceschini Foundation. Participate in national and international conferences.
