Marianne Mörck Tickets

Gun Iris Marianne Mör Flora (born 2 september 1949) is a Swedish actor, singer and director.

Marianne Mör Flora was educated at the Göteborg Academy of music and became involved in the choir at Stora Teatern. She sang in the choir when Scandinavium was inaugurated in 1971 and Birgit Nilsson had the title role in Turandot. In 1977, Marianne Mör Flora came to Malmö City Theatre, where she has appeared in about forty sets in everything from dramatic roles to major opera productions.

She has played the title role in Carmen, Eliza In My Fair Lady, Maja Gräddnos in Pelle Svanslös, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Madame Thénardier in Les Misérables, Giovanna in Rigoletto and Maria in the Sound of Music. Mör Flora also appeared as Peacock in Tage Danielsson's musical Animalen in 1981 and performed the role of Fina-Kajsa in Kristina from Duvemåla from 1995. In 2010 she appeared in the musical Romeo & Julia at Göta Lejon in Stockholm.

At Fredriksdalsteatern in Helsingborg, Mör Flora has played in three performances: 2002 as the hysterical Agda Lindhagen in Hon jazzade en sommar, 2008 as Countess Falkenvräk in Rabalder in Ramlösa and 2012 as one of the two misunderstood old sisters Abby and Martha Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace.

In 2008 she participated in Arlövsrevyn together with Kent Nilsson and Lasse Brandeby.

In 2015, she was on stage at Gunnebo Castle Theatre in the role of Donna Lucia d'alvadorez in Charlie's aunt against Claes Malmberg and Jan Malmsjö. The performance continued to Galateatern in Malmö the same year.

Director
Mör Flora was assistant director of the Swedish stage version of ABBA musical Mamma Mia! in 2005, she directed and starred in the musical Singin' in the Rain in Malmö. She has had director assignments at the Göteborg Opera, Malmö Opera and Drottningholm Castle Theatre. The plays include Shirley Valentine, August Strindberg's creditor in 1993 and Miss Julie in 1997 and the musical The Full Monty that went to Malmö and at the Stockholm City Theatre. She has also directed operas such as Lucia di Lammermoor, Aida, Eugen Onegin, Don Giovanni, Alceste Cavalleria Rusticana and in Pagliacci, as well as sets in Finland, South Korea and the Estonian National Opera in Tallinn.

Film and TV
Mör Flora has appeared in several films by Agneta Fagerström-Olsson and has also been Voice Actor in cartoons. She has played in several Wallander films, and in 2017-2019 she starred in three seasons of the drama Bonus Family in Sveriges Television.

Mör flora participated in the twelfth sand of the stars of the castle, which was recorded at Teleborg Castle in Växjö in the summer of 2017. Her episode was aired on Sveriges Television in January 2018.

Other
Together with her then partner Göran Sönnerstedt, she co-operated with her theatrical work the entertainment restaurant Teaterrestaurangen at Malmö stadsteater/Malmö Opera in the 1980s and 1990s.

On 19 August 2017, a major exhibition about her life's activities was opened at the Theatre Museum in Malmö.
