Maayan Licht was born in Israel, 20.05.1993. During his high school period (2008-2011), studied alternative theater with the teachers Pablo Zaltzman and Neta Plozky, the founders of the first alternative theater school in Israel in Shlomi.
2011-2013 studied vocal studies at the Conservatory of Netanya with the teacher and conductor Vita Gurevich. 2013-2015 studied at The Royal Conservatory of the Hague in the early music department with Rita Dams.
In June 2018 had his final Bachelor recital at the conservatory of Amsterdam where he got the mark of 10 Cum laude from the jury.
Today a first year student in the Master’s program at Amsterdam’s conservatory with the teacher Xenia Meijer. Between the years 2003-2008, participated in “Moran choir” under the conduction of Naomi Faran and performed in many concerts in Israel and abroad. The winner of the AICF Scholarship competition in Baroque (2014-2015) and Classical singing (2014-2019) and the receiver of the audience’s favorite price in the “Aviv competitions” of 2015.
On February 2015 and 2016, sang the solo soprano part in the oratorio “Messiah” by Handel in Pieterskerk in Leiden. On November 2016 sang the soprano part in the B minor mass by Bach in Amsterdam and Heiloo.
In September 2017 performed as one of the main actors in the Israeli play “Haktuba” in Amsterdam and The Hague. In December 2017 and 2018, performed as a soloist at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam as a part of an important Hanukah concert. In January-March will tour around the Netherlands as one of the soloists in the Baroque opera “Dangerous Liaisons” with the opera company “Opera2day” In March&April 2019 will sing the part of Amore in Gluck’s “Orfeo and Euridice” with the opera company “The fat lady” in Haarlem.
