Born in Bergamo, he graduated in piano and singing from the conservatories of Brescia and Bergamo. Between 2001 and 2006 he held a permanent position at the Donizetti theater in Bergamo and the Comunale in Piacenza. It intensifies the collaboration activity with numerous theaters including the Carlo Felice of Genoa, the Grande of Brescia, the Comunale of Modena. Luigi Albani dedicates himself both to the operatic and chamber and sacred repertoire, participating as a soloist in the productions of established choral and instrumental formations. He collaborated with the RAI National Symphony Orchestra for the concert form "Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg" by R. Wagner conducted by maestro J. Tate. We should also mention the performance in scenic form of the Requiem by G. Verdi at the Teatro Comunale of Piacenza conducted by maestro Mstislav Rostropovich. In 2006 he debuted as a soloist at the Donizetti theater in the fall season in the works of "Roberto Devereux", "Anna Bolena", "Lucia di Lammermoor" who engaged him in a tour in Japan, where he performed in the most important cities. On December 2, 2006 Luigi Albani is engaged in the opera "Rigoletto", where he holds the main role of the Duke of Mantua, gaining considerable success both from the public and the critics. From 2005 to 2007 Luigi Albani won the audition at the Arena di Verona three times in succession as a choir artist, placing himself in first place and taking part in the Areniano Festival. On June 9, 2007 he won the international competition for artists of the Teatro alla Scala choir in Milan, becoming a permanent artist. In 2008 he took on the main role of Alfredo in "La traviata" by Verdi, Nemorino in "L'elisir d'Amore" by Donizetti, Rodolfo in "La Bohéme" by Puccini, Edgardo in "Lucia di Lammermoor" by Donizetti.
