Bassoon first soloist at the National Orchestra of the Paris Opera and certified teacher at CRR of Cergy-Pontoise, Ludovic TISSUS began his musical studies at the National Conservatory of TOURS Region.
His studies continued at the National Conservatory of Music in Paris near of Gilbert Audin for the bassoon, and Maurice Bourgue and David Walter for the music of bedroom.
He won a unanimous First Prize with the congratulations of the Basson jury in 1993 and a First Prize of Chamber Music in 1992. He will then integrate the 3rd Cycle until 1995. He participated in the influence of the French school of the bassoon at the international level by winning the First Prize at the IDRS competition in Bloomington (USA), the first prize at the JMECPS contest Tokyo (Japan), the Second Prize at the CIEM Competition in Geneva (Switzerland), the Pierre Salvi Prize, the Third Prize at the Wind Instruments Competition in Toulon, and is the winner of the Prague Spring Competition (Czech republic).
Very attached to the practice of chamber music, he plays regularly in different formations that go from the trio to the octet. He created "Quintetto" for bassoon and string quartet by American composer Chuck Holdeman in
Birmingham and Bordeaux, and will make the American creation of the work "Three tributes" of the same author in New York in August 2014.
He has given several solo concerts with the "Tokyo Sinfonia Orchestra", the orchestra of the French-speaking Switzerland, the Radio-France Philharmonic Orchestra, the Banff Festival Orchestra (Canada), the Republican Guard Orchestra and the Youth Autumn Music Festival Interpreters of Val-d'Oise.
