Graduated in singing at the "A. Boito" Conservatory of Parma under the guidance of Maestro Pellizzoni. Scholarship winner, Lucia Ellis Bertini  attended the Verdi Academy in Busseto held by the tenor Carlo Bergonzi, participating in various Masterclasses held by Renata Tebaldi, Alfredo Krauss and Giulietta Simionato.
After a series of concerts in Italy and Latin America she recorded Rossini's "Petite Messe Solennelle" for the magazine "Amadeus", directed by M ° B. Casoni. Performs concerts in Italy and abroad with a lyrical-light repertoire, ranging between opera, operetta and sacred music.
Lucia Ellis Bertini made his debut at the Villa Manin Festival in the role of Hanna Glavary in the "Vedova Allegra" by F. Lehàr.
She supported the role of Musetta in the Bohème of Puccini, of Barbarina and Marcellina in the Marriage of Figaro by Mozart, of Gilda in Verdi's Rigoletto.
In 1997 won the Leoncavallo award (Brissago) as the best interpreter of chamber music. Lucia Ellis Bertini performed the Magnificat of Caldara. He participated in the Festival Umberto Giordano (Baveno) in the show "The night spreads the spells" with the maestro Renato Negri and directed by F. Crivelli.
She sang with the Columbus Orchestra at the "Genova Vip" Concert at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa.
At the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, where she plays the role of choral artist, she has held solo roles with the La Scala Philharmonic Choir and in the following works: Ognennj Angel (Prokofiev) conducted by Maestro R. Chailly and Maestro R. Bartoletti ; Der Freischutz (Weber) directed by Maestro R. Runnicles; Carillon (Clementi) directed by M ° Z. Pesko; Armide (Gluck) and Dialogues des Carmelites (Poulenc) under the direction of Maestro Riccardo Muti.
Actor Michele Placido has joined the theater in prose and opera performances.
Among the latest engagements are "Vesperae Solemnes de Confessore" by Mozart and Verdi's "Rigoletto".
