He began piano lessons at the age of 11 in Compiègne but paused his musical studies at 15 to focus on literature. At 17, he moved to Paris to study Arts and Literature at Paris Diderot University, temporarily stepping away from the piano. In 2010, an invitation to perform at the Fête de la Musique in Compiègne reignited his passion for music, leading him to pursue formal training under renowned Russian professor Rena Shereshevskaya at the École Normale de Musique de Paris.In 2015, Debargue gained international recognition by securing fourth prize at the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. His performances captivated audiences and critics alike, earning him the Special Prize of the Moscow Music Critics Association for his "incredible gift, artistic vision, and creative freedom."Following this success, Debargue has performed in prestigious venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonie, and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
